This event is taking place on the unceded and occupied territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Qayqayt, and Kwikwetlem peoples.
Former residents and friends of the Surrey Strip are gathering to share food, music, and memories of loved ones who are no longer with us – the fallen friends of 135A Street. Everyone is welcome!
Sunday, July 7 | 2:00 PM
Grosvenor Road Park (Dog Park) | 13568 Bentley Rd
Our community has experienced far too many losses, both while the Strip was running and since it has been shut down. The drug war, the war on the poor, and the ongoing genocide against Indigenous peoples have resulted in countless deaths. We are told our lives don’t matter, but we know that is a lie. Join us to remember and honour our lost loved ones, and celebrate the strength of our community.
