Expulsion of a pedophile from Red Braid’s organizing work and membership

A member of Red Braid came out publicly as a pedophile on Facebook on June 23, 2021.

She was permanently expelled from Red Braid at our following member meeting on June 27. Her name is Marcelle Warren and she lives in New Westminster.

Although her Facebook post said that she has not harmed children, we believe that all pedophiles constitute a danger to children irrespective of self-reports that they have not harmed children.

We have reached out to anyone we know who has come into close contact with Marcie through her organizing work. We are making this statement public to warn people about Marcie, which we hope will mitigate the harm she poses to children and people she is in or likely to be in community with.
